We'll visit the BC Aviation Museum and take to the skies! Step aboard the legendary Hawaii Martin Mars, one of the world’s largest and most iconic firefighting aircraft, and imagine what it was like to soar through the skies fighting forest fires. Take the pilot’s seat at a flight simulator and experience the thrill of flying an aircraft—a perfect opportunity for aviation lovers of all ages to test their skills! In the charming town of Sidney by the Sea, we’ll immerse ourselves in the underwater wonders at the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea. Meet the resident Giant Pacific Octopus, get hands-on with sea stars in the interactive touch pools, and discover how we can all help protect the rich biodiversity of our coastal waters. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Sidney waterfront where you may catch a glimpse of marine life up close—and perhaps find a few sunlit treasures glistening among the sand and pebbles at Sea Glass Beach. Step into the Sidney Museum for a fun and fascinating look at local history—kids and grown-ups alike will love the vintage displays, hands-on exhibits, and ever-changing collections! You'll also have the opportunity to discover the charm of shopping in Sidney, where locally owned boutiques, artisan shops, cozy bookstores and multiple thrift shops line the walkable streets—perfect for finding one-of-a-kind treasures and coastal-inspired gifts. Sidney boasts a diverse array of cafes and restaurants, offering everything from exquisite seaside cuisine, casual snacks, tea and scones, even world-famous donuts. Admission to each of the attractions is paid separately at the venues, giving you the flexibility to choose what you'd like to experience.
